Volunteering my time to speak on behalf of beyondblue for the teams at City of Wanneroo. I always feel humbled being a beyondblue Speaker…making a difference in reducing stigma surrounding Mental Health.
Day 1 – 1st talk on the Roadshow for me was at Potts Hill Depot, Potts Hill NSW. Thank you Bernie Sheridan (Manager) from Sydney Water for your introduction.
One things for sure, I always have my beautiful wife Donna by my side on my talks for both support and to provide audiences with a spouses perspective in relation to my lived experience story. A VERY short opportunity to get a happy snap together at Bondi Beach NSW on our way to the next talk at Malabar NSW.
Following each talk, its important for me to take 10 minutes out of the schedule to meditate…YES, I can meditate standing up! Using all 5 senses, listening, seeing, smelling, tasting and touching. Love it.

It’s important to practice what I preach and take some time out for myself. What a better way to relax than going to the Test Cricket for a couple of days. Loved it!
Woodside is definitely embracing the Mental Health & Wellbeing of their biggest asset…their people going by the 2nd floor indoor/outdoor areas. Simply mind-blowing!
