Robert Brack from WesTrac invited me to speak with some of their Apprentices in South Guildford WA. Great initiative by Robert in providing these people with an opportunity to earn more about mental health, the challenges faced by those of us that have lived through it and importantly how to build resilience as a measure of prevention. It was a very successful day and believe we broke down much stigma that is associated with mental health. Some of these people will at some stage in their apprenticeships relocate to regional areas and isolated mine sites so this education is imperative. Well done WesTrac.
